dehydrated poultry proteins, animal fats, rice, vegetable protein isolate*, maize flour, vegetable fibers, hydrolysed animal proteins, maize gluten, wheat flour, maize, complete yeasts and parts thereof, minerals, chicory pulp, fish oil, psyllium seeds and husks (1%), soybean oil, fructo-oligosaccharides, hydrolyzed yeast (source of mannan-oligosaccharides), borage oil, marigold extract (source of lutein).

Description Royal Canin Persian Adult

The ancestors of Persian cats were highly prized in various regions of ancient Europe, even by members of royalty. Today, the Persian is considered a noble and gentle cat with elegant features and an abundant and unique coat.

The Persian cat has a long, lustrous coat with a dense undercoat. In fact, it is the cat breed with the thickest and longest coat. This means that their diet must provide nutrients that promote healthy skin and coat.

ROYAL CANIN® Persian Adult contains a unique complex of nutrients to maintain the skin's defensive barrier function and support skin and coat health.

Due to their long hair, Persian cats are prone to hairball formation. Because of this, ROYAL CANIN® Persian Adult provides a specific blend of fibers (including psyllium, rich in mucilage) that helps to naturally stimulate intestinal transit, eliminate ingested hair and control hairball formation.

Digestive health is also supported by the supply of Low Indigestible Proteins (L.I.P.), prebiotics and omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.

In addition, ROYAL CANIN® Persian Adult's custom-designed kibble is almond-shaped and has an optimal contact surface, which makes it easier for Persian cats to grasp and chew.

The Persian cat is medium-sized, but may appear larger due to the long hair and undercoat covering it. In addition to feeding them ROYAL CANIN Persian Adult, we recommend brushing and detangling the coat every day.

To suit the individual preferences of each cat, ROYAL CANIN® Persian Adult is also available in wet format in the form of a soft and tasty pâté.
